Nebaj, Guatemala traditional huipil 4

Nebaj, Guatemala.  This is an older style huipil from Nebaj in the Ixil Triangle which was an area gravely affected by the Guatemalan Civil War. The huipil is full of woven animals, birds, people and plants. Approximately 40 years old.  Both sides are shown.  26" long from shoulder to bottom of huipil on each side (side seams are sewn closed) and 22" across.  This would best fit a small to medium woman.
