Nebaj, Guatemala traditional huipil #2

Nebaj, Guatemala.  This is a vintage huipil from Nebaj in the Ixil Triangle which was an area gravely affected by the Guatemalan Civil War. The huipil has birds, people, corn plants and geometric designs woven into it.  Very good shape for it's age - approximately 30 years old.  Both sides are shown.  26" long from shoulder to bottom and 20" wide.  Sides are sewn closed but may be easily opened if you prefer.
