Nebaj #4

Nebaj,Guatemala -  Traditional Nebaj huipil woven on a back-strap loom in 2 panels of soft blue fabric. This huipil is approximately 15 years old and has people, birds, horses and plants woven into the design. Both sides of the huipil are shown - design is similiar on both sides.  Huipil is very soft.  This is a smaller huipil - perhaps a woman's small but seams may be removed from the sides to give it a poncho fit which would fit any size.  Neck opening is generous.  With seams closed on the sides it is 21" long from shoulder to bottom of huipil and 24" across.
