Guatmalan modern woven huipil (Copy)

This is a newer huipil from the village of San Antonio Aguas Caliente.    The woven birds are traditional to San Antonio but these are a different design and colors are more vibrant.  The base cloth is woven on a back-strap loom.  There are some loose threads on this piece but it is in great shape.  22" long from shoulder to bottom.  Across huipil measures 28".  Both sides of huipil are shown.
