Guatemalan modern huipil with butterflies
This is a newer huipil with butterflies and flowers. Base cloth was hand-woven on a back strap loom with some metallic threads. Sides are sewn closed. It is 21" long on each side and 24" wide. Both sides of huipil are shown.
