Chichicastenango modern huipil 2

Modern Chichicastenango huipil consisting of 3 back-strap woven panels on soft cotton cloth.  Hand-woven birds dance across the front and shoulders of the orange color huipil with colorful geometric and flower designs.  Wonderfully soft piece with an ample head opening.  The design is the same on both sides (both sides pictured).  One one side there are some spots in a corner of the orange fabric - visible on the last picture.  

Huipil is 31" across and 23" from shoulder to bottom of garment.  Seams are sewn closed under the armholes but are easily opened if you prefer to wear it poncho style.
