Chichicastenango modern huipil

Modern Chichicastenango huipil consisting of 3 back-strap woven panels on black striped base cloth.  Peacocks and flowers are woven into the huipil.  Both sides have the same design (both sides pictured).  There is a peacock front and back and on each shoulder on both sides (6 peacocks).  This is a used huipil in good condition with some loose threads but design is very charming.

Huipil is 33" across and 48" long - armholes have been opened so it can be worn like a poncho or you may close them if you prefer.  Neck opening is ample.
