SANTIAGO ATITLAN, Guatemala with hand-embroidered flowers and butterflies.  Flowers almost have a 3D quality as they are thick with lots of texture.  Huipil is open on the sides and each side is 22" long from shoulder and 28" wide.  Both sides of huipil are shown.  The 2 X's on the textile may have been the signature of the woman who made and wore the huipil.
