Nebaj, Guatemala traditional huipil

Nebaj, Guatemala.  This is an older style huipil from Nebaj in the Ixil Triangle which was an area gravely affected by the Guatemalan Civil War. The huipil is full of woven animals, birds, people, and plants. Very good shape for it's age - approximately 40 years old.  Both sides are shown.  24" long from shoulder to bottom and 23" wide.
