Hand-woven and embroidered Chichicastenango Faja #3

Hand-woven faja (used as a belt to wrap around the corte to secure the huipil and corte in place) with flowers and double-headed birds embroidered on the back-strap woven belt.  The hand-embroidered section is 45" and the whole belt is 3" x 80" with an additional 6" of fringe on each side.  Great shape for it's age (approximately 25 years old).
