SANTIAGO ATITLAN, Guatemala. Blue base cloth was woven on a back-strap loom and birds are hand-embroidered. Very fine detail and lots of activity with birds, butterflies, dragonflies and ladybugs. An outstanding piece of art! 28" long from shoulder to bottom of huipil (or 56" long as seams are open) by 32” wide.
