SANTIAGO ATITLAN, Guatemala. Light bluish/purple base cloth was woven on a back-strap loom and birds are hand-embroidered. Small birds are around the neck and the larger birds below. 26.5" long from shoulder to bottom of huipil (or 56" long as seams are open) by 27” wide.
