Santa Catarina Palopo, Guate. huipil

This is a very fine example of a traditional huipil from Santa Catarina Palopo, Guatemala.  These are the original colors of Santa Catarina with the red base cloth and blue top representing el lago (Lake Atitlan) where the village is located.  Very nice piece and in good condition for it's age - approximately 30 years.  Both sides are shown.  This is a large huipil that measures 36" from shoulder to bottom of huipil on each side and 31" wide.
