San Antonio Palopo 2

San Antonio Palopo, Guatemala.  This is a new huipil from the Kakchiquel village of San Antonio Palopo on Lake Atitlan in the traditional style. It was woven on a back-strap loom in 3 panels and joined with a decorative randa that resembles jugs.  33" long (side seams sewn closed) on each side x 32" wide.  Front and back have same design.
