Nebaj Cinta

This cinta or hair ribbon was woven on a back-strap loom with designs of whimsical animals and birds. Look closely at the weaving and you will see the birds and horses. This is the traditional hair wrap of women in Nebaj, Quiche, Guatemala. See picture below to see how it is worn.
