Copy of Clerical Stole w/ Symbols - wide in green
These stoles are made by a cooperative of Mayan Tzutujil weavers in Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala. It takes one weaver 3 days of working 8 hours a day to complete one stole. Through the formation of the cooperative they now receive a fair price for their work. The weavers in the village are indigenous Mayans who still wear their traditional trajes and speak their native Tzutujil.
We have 2 sizes and this is the wider and longer. This stole is 4 3/4" x 110" (does not incl. 4" of fringe on each side). Presently only available in green and purple.
