Red Beadspread #19

Bedspreads made in Zacualpa, Guatemala. This is a traditional weave from Zacualpa, woven on a back-strap loom in 6 panels for the King, 5 panels for the Queen/Double and 4 panels for the twin, and joined with a decorative stitching. Note the decorative embroidery at the top and bottom of the bedspread. This color is the traditional color of the huipiles in Zacualpa - red huipiles with a woven purple decorative band at the shoulder. Red. Presently available in queen only
