This bag is made from vintage textiles from the village of Nebaj in Guatemala. It is made from a huipil (traditional Mayan woman's blouse) which was woven on a back-strap loom. The huipil is the most important element of a woman's traditional dress as the design and style of each is specific to the village in which the woman lives.
It has a magnetic closure and an additional zippered pocket in the back. There is also a zippered side pocket inside. Long adjustable shoulder strap. Bag is made primarily for a book or tablet as it does not expand much. 11" x 9 1/2"
