San Juan Cotzal 4

San Juan Cotzal (in the Ixil triangle of Guatemala) huipil in natural tones with birds, plants, people, horses, and geometric symbols woven into the design.  A strip has been sewn on each side to give it added width but the strip on the right is not as long as the other piece (see picture of full huipil).  27" wide x 49" long (open at the seams).
