San Martin Chile Verde huipil

This is a very fine example of a traditional huipil from San Martin Chile Verde, Guatemala with tropical birds and geometric patterns on a black base cloth.  It is hand-woven on a back-strap loom.   Excellent condition.  Sides are sewn closed.  34" wide each side and 28" long (from shoulder to base of cloth).  Neck is 7" but rather tight.
